The District by G|S was handcrafted by Tyrei "DJ Tee" Lacy along with his close family and friends solely for your enjoyment. Starting in March 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lacy's team spent countless sleepless nights constructing the lovely restaurant available for you today. Completing the project in August 2020 and hosting the grand opening, Lacy and his team were able to bring a Black-Owned, fine-dining restaurant right to the middle of our community.
If you have been to The District, you know the vibe is unmatched! Our incredible staff was hand-selected to give you a unique experience that you can only receive at The District. As a Black-Owned establishment, it has been our purpose to not only serve superb food and beverages but to provide our customers comfort, love, and community. Whether you dine with us on Taco Tuesday, Bedroom Wednesday, or for Weekend Brunch, you will feel elated during, and long after, your visit.
The District is a reflection of the potential of our community: a reflection of what happens when we invest in ourselves. We are dedicated to being a pillar of happiness for our customers.
